Ellie Goulding Warms Hearts At The Paramount

After a very successful tour with Bruno Mars last year , Ellie Goulding returned to Seattle this week to play another show sold out in their own headlining tour . The Paramount was all a buzz with anticipation , some fans stake out your place in line more than twelve hours before the show began.

I had the pleasure of seeing Goulding tickets now headlining , promoting their first full CD length Lights ( March 2011) , and from what I could see , she has become more comfortable actor on stage .

Still hot on the heels of their latest release, Halcyon ( August 2013 ) , it is clear that the presence on stage of Goulding has grown. Using the whole stage , danced and moved while the participation and interaction with the public, whipping his head and hair with fluid grace .

Maybe it was his combat boots that prevented land , or fans on stage that allowed him to remain calm. She looked effortlessly sing every note precise and clear . In all, he performed 23 songs .

Although the floor was standing room only , all the balcony gave sitting at her feet when she took the stage alone with his guitar. As she played and sang : "Guns and Horses " , the whole crowd was up, and stood for the rest of the series.

Her cover of Elton John's " Your Song" , was exceptionally beautiful . She took center stage and sang , accompanied by one of his backing musicians on piano , which became a sing -a-long with the crowd.

Opening Event of the tour is St. Louis native , Conway. Not originally selected to tour with Goulding, was shocked to discover that he had been chosen after another band had declined.

She had to drop everything and be ready in a week, a task which she gladly accepted . After the tour , return to the studio and hopes to launch a full length EP later this year.
